Through research I have come across people refering to tunnel vision as looking at life through a straw so I literally took some photographs down a straw to see what effects I could create, I think they look really good and the colours are very bright. Obviously if someone saw life like this it would be a very extreme case of tunnel vision.

Tunnel Vision
Through research I have come across people refering to tunnel vision as looking at life through a straw so I literally took some photographs down a straw to see what effects I could create, I think they look really good and the colours are very bright. Obviously if someone saw life like this it would be a very extreme case of tunnel vision.
Macular Degeneration

Macular degenaration is caused due to damaged blood vessels which is why I have tried to created imagery to look like blood vessels. The condition makes central vision look quite distorted and black splodges may appear, I have tried to distort my text by overlapping it to create the impression of how things would look in the central field.
Blepharitis
Glaucoma

The reason I have done my type like this for Glaucoma is because it is caused through pressure in the aqueous in the eye, I used watercolour and blew through a straw to cause pressure. Another reason for blowing through a straw is because the test for glaucoma is a puff of air blown onto the eye. My textures have followed the same pattern of being created through watercolour, I think the colours work really nice in them. Also they look a little like nerves and all the little synapses coming off them, this combines well as the condition glaucoma is damage to the optic nerve.
Finished D&AD

I have managed to mock my bottles up to show what they would look like, I am really pleased with them and think they look very contemporary. Through research I have been looking at plastics which are more sustainable than the PET recyclable plastics which are currently in use. I came across bioplastics and biodegradable plastics, I discovered that bioplastics actually cause problems when degrading as they give off toxic gases into the atmosphere, the most sustainable out of the two is the biodegradable plastics, they just degrade into the environment naturally due to an additive which is added to the plastic. The reason I wanted to use this plastic instead of recyclabe plastics is because not everyone actually recycles there for most of the plastics just end up on landfills anyway.
Improvement on RSA stamps

These are the improved version of my stamps. I needed to use more iconic patterns of Celia's on my stamps so my first idea was to just use the patterns, I then incorporated these pattens onto some drawings in the style of Celia. In these drawings I wanted to show off the iconic necklines and sleeves etc. I think they work really well, I used her logo on each of the stamps to make them work individually.
